Yarn Day Trip – Bellingham

Get Ready for Red Alder Fiber Festival 2026!
Red Alder is the First Fiber Festival on the PNW calendar and this year’s event takes place from Febraury 12-14, at the Hotel Murano in Tacoma. A Day on the Farm in Carnation
Last weekend on a misty Autumnal Saturday I headed to Carnation Farms to host a color work knitting workshop. It was a day to remember – full of fiber friendship, adorable sheep, beautiful yarn and delicious food. I am already excited for the next one. A couple of weeks ago I headed back to The UK to visit family and friends. Part of our travels included a visit to my Aunt and Uncle in Bath – a beautiful Georgian town in the southwest of England, and to my excitement home to two fabulous yarn stores.
