Since The Woolpack’s launch in 2024, we have been showcasing the best yarns from our beautiful region and bringing inspiration for single skein makes, now it’s time to invite you into The Woolpack Yarn Test Kitchen. We are excited to bring you the opportunity to sample the best PNW yarns in exclusive Woolpack color ways from the comfort of your own home and join us in sharing our creations with other Woolpack readers.
Each season we will be working with one of our favorite producers and dyers to create unique and colorful skeins in a range of sumptuous fibers and deliver them to your door along with a few carefully curated treats to enhance your Yarn Test Kitchen at home experience.
How it works...
Choose your sign up level – a single "Wool Pack", or opt for four seasons of wooly wonder. Wait with anticipation for your carefully curated box of fiber happiness to arrive in the mail. Gasp with happiness on delivery day and begin planning your very own one skein wonder. Send us a pic of your completed creation and we will share it on our socials and in a Seasonal Yarn Test Kitchen Gallery on The Woolpack. Come join The Woolpack community, we can't wait to show and share with you!
Our Fall 2026 Yarn: Exclusive Woolpack Color Ways in Drift DK from Thought to Thread, 270 yds of 100% Patagonian Woolen Spun Merino
Our stunning yarns for Autumn 2026 have been hand dyed in Seattle by Tyler from Thought to Thread exclusively for The Yarn Test Kitchen Club. These non superwash DK weight skeins bring all the cozy vibes of the changing of the season. You have two delightful choices for your fall Wool Packs: Option one - Maple Carpet - using a photo of maple leaves fully carpeting a lawn as inspiration, Tyler captured the essence of Autumn in a skein. Maple carpet is a symphony of rusts, ochers and golds with a hint of pink - all the comforting hues of the changing of the season. Option two - Woo Woo - The original inspiration for this whimsical colorway comes from a set of beads bought from a local crystal store. The paler tones and speckles in Tyler's interpretation also beautifully evoke late summer days - golden light, touches of blue sky and a hint of fall color that's just around the corner.
